Once the area has been primed the whole panel is masked off and the paint is flatened
The panel can now receive several layers of paint then a fresh coat of lacquer

Once the paint has hardened the panel can be machine polished to remove any imperfections and give a smooth glossy finish
The repair process is complete, the panel now looks as good as new
